The Story of Smoke Ring BBQ

Smoke Ring BBQ was born on our back patio during the pandemic-2020.  With a long line of family Pitmasters and travel being shut down, I decided to fire up my Traeger to see if I was blessed with that family blood line of BBQ love (Uncle Tim says I'm a cheater....)

 

Living in Texas, we have a natural appreciation for the craft that surrounds THE TEXAS BRISKET!!  After ruining a “few”, the road to Brisket perfection was underway & continues on that same ("the lab") back patio!!  We’ve since added several more Traeger's as well as a Yoder Smoker.  Our passion for BBQ, fellowship, our community & mental clarity continues to be the driving force behind everything we do!  The team at Smoke Ring BBQ knows that every cook counts, and we either WIN or we LEARN!!

In April 2022, we have decided to take this to a new level.  As you know, if you hang around the BBQ community long enough they will convince you that you are capable of anything.  We stumbled upon an awesome food trailer and decided to take a leap of faith. We definitely have some work to do, but are beyond grateful for the opportunity.  In July 2022 we started designing an offset smoker with our good friend at AS Customs.  The smoker was installed in October 2022!
